Emerson is looking for a software engineering professional to create world-class embedded software for pressure and temperature industrial process measurement devices used in safety and mission-critical applications.
Requirements
- Experience with C/C++
- Object-Oriented Design
- UML
- real-time operating systems
- microcontrollers
- serial communication protocols such as SPI, SCI, IIC
Responsibilities
- Working with an interdisciplinary team
- Performing Object-Oriented Design and coding of real-time embedded software
- Participating in software requirements activities, including elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Participating in extensive peer reviews
- Creating and executing unit and integration tests
- Debugging software and hardware/software integration issues
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an Engineering School
- Two (2) years of applicable experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Good communication skills and the ability to participate as a member of a team
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
