Marvell's Chip Security IP Team is looking for internship candidates to work on cutting-edge security enhancements to Marvell's Cloud, Data Center, Carrier, Fibre Channel, Switch, Storage, and Automotive System-On-Chip (SOC) solutions. The role involves developing new firmware/software for embedded Hardware Security Modules and provisioning software to enable security features for manufacturing introduction.

Requirements

  • Prior coursework or experience in ARM or other embedded systems
  • Proficiency in C
  • Caliptra
  • Rust programming
  • Hands on experience in ARM core-based development boards
  • Linux device driver/HAL enabling/porting
  • ARM TrustZone, Trusted Firmware, Trusted Execution Environment

Responsibilities

  • Work with technology experts to write new firmware/software for embedded Hardware Security Modules
  • Develop provisioning software to enable security features for manufacturing introduction
  • Participate in designing, developing, enabling, and porting the advanced security/trusted firmware and embedded system software stack
  • Gain exposure to industry-leading security solutions and play a role in enabling those solutions for Marvell SoCs

  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or other related fields with an anticipated graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2026
  • Cryptography knowledge/Security protocols, e.g. data integrity, digital certificate, crypto schemes, IPSec, TLS/SSL, SPDM, etc.
  • Any security usage scenario
