Daktronics is looking to solve the problem of developing cutting-edge digital LED display technology and audio systems by hiring a Firmware/Hardware Design Co-op Intern to work on projects that bring excitement to sports events, attract customers worldwide, and guide people in their daily lives.
Requirements
- Programming knowledge in C, C++, C-Sharp, Python, and/or VHDL/Verilog
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with Tera Term
- Knowledge of digital LED display technology and audio systems
- Experience with embedded systems
- Experience with testing and verification of hardware and software
- Experience with signal integrity testing
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot existing designs.
- Assist in manual testing of hardware and software.
- Prototype verification, such as: Verify circuit operating parameters (i.e. rise and fall times, regulator stability, etc.).
- Taking measurements with a multi-meter and high-speed oscilloscope.
- Create test reports.
- Characterize video source components (i.e., cable length).
- Develop and support applications using Linux, C, C-Sharp, C++, VHDL/Verilog, Python, and/or Tera Term programming languages.
