Marriott International is seeking to implement and provide on-going support for a new OMS & Commerce platform
Requirements
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with mastery of Apex programming, JavaScript, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs
- Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and experience with multiple Salesforce products: OMS, OCI, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud
- Understanding of data and system integration tools, methods and platforms
- Experience with Kafka, SQL, GitHub, CI/CD, Eclipse IDEs, and JavaScript/HTML/CSS is a plus
- Mastery of Apex programming
- Experience with Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs
- Hold at least one of the following Salesforce Certifications (Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1, JavaScript Developer 1, OMS Developer)
Responsibilities
- Leverage Salesforce OMS expertise to function as technical architect and hands-on Salesforce engineer
- Deliver technical solutions with focus on security, privacy, scalability, and performance
- Serve as lead Salesforce developer, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards and coaching and mentoring team members
- Review and approve design documents, code reviews, test plans, and deployment plans
- Make informed decisions on architectural design, considering tradeoffs, benefits, and recommendations
- Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to understand requirements and translate into solutions
- Fixing defects for in-use modules/applications
Other
- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving and follow-through abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be within commuting distance to Bethesda, MD for hybrid work environment
