Support PMA Interim Flight Clearance (IFC) and provide systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms
Requirements
- Experience developing and implementing configuration management procedures for technical data
- Knowledge of FAA NAS policies, as it pertains to different class areas, altitudes
- Knowledge of DCMA, DoD, OPNAV, CNAF, NAVAIR documents, directives, orders, and/ or instructions as they pertain to flight operations, and maintenance procedures for both unmanned and manned platforms
- Knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) flight/ operator/ maintenance manuals’ use and structure and the ability to translate OEM information into DoD/ NAVAIR program, procedure(s), and technical language
- Must have proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft (MS) products and possess a strong computer-use background to include using editorial and graphics software running local, networked, or web-based platforms, and websites
Responsibilities
- Support PMA Interim Flight Clearance (IFC) – PMA Interim Flight Clearance (IFC) Support - Family of Small UAS (FoSUAS)
- Coordinate and execute the management/ development of all assigned FC Track and ensure the transition of Interim FC (IFC) content into the appropriate Permanent FC (PFC)
- Create, update, and submit tracking reports to the PMA, and other stakeholders, on status of current IFC/PFC
- Develop required content and facilitate the FC progression through each engineering review for airworthiness
- Create and present formal briefs in support of new or changing fleet capabilities and/or new type
Other
- Clearance Required: Secret
- US Citizenship is required for work on DoD contract
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, logistics, or a related field and four (4) years of related experience
- Travel up to 10% is required
