The Boeing Company is seeking Flight Simulation Software Engineers to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization by developing software for tools and models within their simulation infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience as a Software Engineer
- 2+ years of professional experience programming in C++
- Knowledge of basic networking principles
Responsibilities
- Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
- Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
- Supports development of simulation environments to supporting testing performed by Mission Systems engineers
- Works on an agile team in order to accomplish team goals
- Executes and documents software research and development projects
- Creating core simulation infrastructure to serve as a jumping-off point for programs developing flight simulation capabilities
- Developing tools to simulate, monitor, and control digital messages between subsystems in a lab environment

- This position might require frequent business travels (20% - 30%) to St. Louis, MO for the first 3 months of employment.
