The Boeing Company is looking to solve the business problem of coordinating and executing flight test programs for F15 international customers, including Qatar, Saudi, Korea, Japan, Israel, and Singapore, by hiring a Flight Test Engineer to provide leadership and coordination of the Flight Test Work Statement with various functions and support groups.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on flight test program, preferably as a flight test engineer
- 5+ years of experience with the principles of flight test OR experience directly supporting flight test operations
- Experience supporting a military flight test program
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- An active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers
- Develop flight test and mission profiles, develop and publish test plans, create flight test cards, and manage test schedules
- Identify and coordinate the availability of test ranges and facilities with company and government agencies
- Establish test planning working groups, plan and conduct flight test readiness reviews, and conduct pre and posttest briefings
- Conduct ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures
- Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution
- Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports
