Tyson Foods is looking for an FSQA Technician to perform inspections of product and plant systems to ensure quality and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year QA experience.
- ability to read and interpret product specifications
- math and organizational skills
- good problem identification and problem-solving skills
- Must use safe lifting techniques.
- regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear.
- occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds or more
Responsibilities
- performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems
- documenting and calculating results accurately
- taking corrective action when necessary and alerting appropriate personnel to adjust process
- identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming product
- report results to management
- any additional assignments requested
- All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.
Other
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English or Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred).
- ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
- must function well under stress
- must have flexibility to work where and when needed.
