dnata catering U.S. is looking for a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality, monitor and implement food safety policies, procedures, and protocols to guarantee that all food products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Food production knowledge.
- FSMA and GFSI scheme knowledge a plus.
- Must be computer literate.
- Prior experience with HACCP requirements
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Operational Sanitation Operating Procedures daily.
- Verify calibration of thermometers used in production and receiving in accordance with the HACCP plan.
- Verify all HACCP documentation is completed by cooks, assembly clerks, and receiving clerks are done.
- Record all production room and cooler temperatures on monitoring log.
- Monitor the dish room to ensure the proper chemical concentration and sanitizer usage.
- Verify the calibration of scales on the production room floor in accordance with procedures.
- Assist in integrating good food handling procedures and HACCP requirements into production’s daily routine.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in food science or biology preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in the food industry.
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have good communication skills.
- The employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits.
