CACI Force Design Analyst directly supporting the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO), Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (OASD SO/LIC) will provide embedded technical analysis and expertise in support of the civilian oversight of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and the execution of Title 10 responsibilities for SOF, including organizing, training, equipping, and resourcing.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real time knowledge management systems.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, Joint Staff, and/or OSD staff organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing force structures to identify strengths, weaknesses, and capability gaps.
  • Support operational analyses (wargaming, modeling & simulation, scenario development) to optimize force organization, equipment, and employment for strategic objectives.
  • Translate operational needs into clear, concise, and quantifiable requirements for new capabilities and systems.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, robotics, hypersonics, cyber warfare) for potential impact on force design.
  • Provides inputs to modeling and simulation analyses to assess force structure effectiveness and concepts of operation.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and inform recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts of operation (CONOPS) and force design concepts.

Other

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7+ years of DoD Force Development and design and/or operational planning experience with PPBES. Will consider candidates with 12+ years of related or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in positions of responsibility within an operational or strategic level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
