Ford Racing is seeking to create applications that help cars on track go faster and engineers behind it develop faster
Requirements
- Strong proficiency writing REST API’s in a strongly typed language (preferably C-Sharp(.Net), Rust, C++, GO)
- Experience with component style front ends (Angular, React, etc)
- Deep experience with SQL (Preferably Postgresql)
- Advanced GIT user
- Experience with Tekton
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Podman)
Responsibilities
- Ingest and organize engineering and race data (.Net, Rust)
- Create data visualization tools per internal customer request (Angular)
- Create and support CI/CD pipelines (Terraform)
- Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code
- Ensure security and scalability of systems
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant technical discipline (Master's degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture, cloud engineering, or enterprise systems design, preferably in a motorsports setting
- At least 4 days per week in the Allen Park, MI or Concord, NC office
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States
