The Forecasting Analyst will play a critical role on the project implementation team responsible for managing and maintaining the Unified Forecast in Logile for both Labor and Fresh operations. This role bridges data science, operations, and business intelligence by ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable forecasts that drive efficient workforce management and optimized fresh product operations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated competency in advanced statistics (time series modeling, regression, variance analysis, probability, confidence intervals, etc.).
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one statistical programming or analysis tool (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
- Experience creating and interpreting dashboards in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with Logile or other labor/workforce management and forecasting systems.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks or experience in operational discipline/enforcement roles.
Responsibilities
- Configure, validate, and manage Logile’s Unified Forecast for Labor and Fresh categories.
- Ensure forecasts accurately reflect sales, production, and labor demand across all business units.
- Continuously monitor forecast performance and adjust parameters to improve accuracy.
- Apply advanced statistical methods to assess forecast accuracy, variance, and business impact.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of forecast deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Build performance dashboards and present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support system testing, validation, and go-live activities for the Unified Forecast model.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in forecasting, workforce management, or retail analytics.
- Ability to translate complex statistical models into clear, actionable business insights.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence leaders and operators to follow best practices.
