Phare Health is looking to solve the problem of trust and fairness in healthcare payments by building a platform that brings clarity, transparency, and equity to interactions between payers and providers. The Forward Deployed Data Scientist will help achieve this by bringing messy real-world data into Phare's AI platform and translating it into structured, reliable inputs for their models.
Requirements
- Skilled in SQL and Python for data wrangling, analysis, and visualization
- Experience working with EHR, claims, or payer data; familiar with data quality challenges in healthcare
- Background in ML model validation, monitoring, or deployment
- Experience with healthcare coding, rev cycle operations, or clinical workflows
- Exposure to distributed data systems, cloud-based ETL, or MLOps
Responsibilities
- Partner with client stakeholders (clinical, rev cycle, IT) to validate outputs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adoption of Phare’s product suite into their existing workflows
- Translate messy, heterogeneous healthcare data into structured, usable inputs for Phare’s AI models
- Build and refine data pipelines and validation checks to ensure accuracy and reproducibility at scale
- Develop analyses and dashboards that surface insights for clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with Phare engineers and researchers to improve model training data and feedback loops
- Contribute to building Phare’s customer delivery playbook - defining best practices for delivering high-quality AI outputs across diverse client environments
