Roboto is building the software infrastructure for the golden age of robotics, a platform that can ingest, search, and analyze the vast amounts of data produced by robots. The company aims to make multimodal data easy to manage and quick to analyze with AI, helping companies deploy safer, smarter, and more capable systems. The Forward Deployed Engineer role is crucial for helping customers get the most out of Roboto's platform and translating insights into product improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in robotics, software engineering, or data engineering, ideally with high-stakes systems or autonomy stacks.
  • Proficiency with ROS/ROS2, PX4, Isaac SDK/Sim, lidar/camera data, autonomy pipelines, motion planning, or other robotics frameworks.
  • Expertise in SQL, Embeddings, Vector Databases, Python, Pandas, Jupyter, Spark, or similar tools for handling large datasets.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud pipelines, and containerization.
  • Experience building AI pipelines, robotics applications, or open-source developer tools.
