At Relixir, customers don’t just use our product — they run their growth engine on it. Your role as a Forward Deployed Engineer is to sit at the intersection of customer success and deep technical engineering, embedding with our customers, understanding their growth problems, and shipping features that directly solve them.
Requirements
- Strong coding skills in Python + TypeScript (our core stack: FastAPI, Postgres, AWS ECS/Fargate, Qdrant).
- Prior experience with LLM systems, RAG, or AI workflows in production.
- Familiarity with AWS ECS + SQS + Lambda, Qdrant, Supabase.
- Strong debugging skills, production readiness, and bias to action.
- Python
- TypeScript
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to uncover growth opportunities, workflow gaps, and technical blockers.
- Design creative solutions to customer pain points using Relixir’s stack and AI workflows.
- Translate ambiguous customer needs into concrete product improvements.
- Ship customer-driven features end-to-end: from rough spec → production deployment.
- Debug issues in live customer environments, triage problems, and push fixes quickly.
- Extend our core platform — building integrations, APIs, and automation pipelines.
- Work with large-scale LLM pipelines (GPT, Gemini, Perplexity) powering Relixir’s GEO/AI Search automation.
Other
- In-person SF (this role is embedded and fast-moving — async won’t cut it).
- 2–5 years engineering experience at a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Comfort owning full customer workflows: from running an onsite workshop to shipping the feature they need.
- US citizen/visa only
- You’ll have a direct line to both customers and the product roadmap — shaping how Relixir evolves.
