Relixir is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of customer success and deep technical engineering, embedding with customers to understand their growth problems and ship features that directly solve them, thereby maximizing autonomous search share for B2B companies.

Requirements

  • Strong coding skills in Python + TypeScript (our core stack: FastAPI, Postgres, AWS ECS/Fargate, Qdrant).
  • Comfort owning full customer workflows: from running an onsite workshop to shipping the feature they need.
  • Strong debugging skills, production readiness, and bias to action.
  • Prior experience with LLM systems, RAG, or AI workflows in production.
  • Familiarity with AWS ECS + SQS + Lambda, Qdrant, Supabase.
  • Technical interview (Python/TypeScript, debugging, and systems design)

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers to uncover growth opportunities, workflow gaps, and technical blockers.
  • Design creative solutions to customer pain points using Relixir’s stack and AI workflows.
  • Translate ambiguous customer needs into concrete product improvements.
  • Ship customer-driven features end-to-end: from rough spec → production deployment.
  • Debug issues in live customer environments, triage problems, and push fixes quickly.
  • Extend our core platform — building integrations, APIs, and automation pipelines.
  • Work with large-scale LLM pipelines (GPT, Gemini, Perplexity) powering Relixir’s GEO/AI Search automation.

Other

  • US citizen/visa only
  • In-person SF (this role is embedded and fast-moving — async won’t cut it).
  • 2–5 years engineering experience at a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Hybrid Operator — You thrive at the intersection of customer engagement and deep technical problem-solving.
  • Builder’s Mindset — You don’t just hand off feedback; you own the fix and ship it to production.
