Miracle aims to improve healthcare by accelerating clinical trials through technology, empowering biopharmaceutical companies by unifying disparate trial systems and delivering real-time, automated insights to optimize clinical trials, ultimately saving time in drug development towards FDA approvals and improving patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Fluency in React/Next, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
- You've shipped polished user-facing features in production.
- You're capable of contributing across the stack when needed (e.g., APIs, data integration, infrastructure hooks).
- You have strong product sense and understand how great UI/UX helps solve user pain points.
- You build reusable components and scalable layouts, not just pages.
Responsibilities
- Design and Build: Craft responsive, performant, and intuitive UIs using React/Next/TypeScript.
- Polish and Iterate: Drive interaction design, component consistency, and frontend quality to a high standard.
- User Research & Feedback Loops: Talk to real users running clinical trials at biotech companies to understand where workflows break and where software and AI can help.
- Own Frontend Systems: Help architect and maintain our frontend stack, design system, and UX patterns.
- Full-Stack Flexibility: Collaborate across the stack when needed to integrate frontend features with backend APIs and data pipelines.
- Collaborate Closely: Work tightly with the CEO, engineers, and biotech users to translate pain points into elegant product experiences that solve those needs.
Other
- 3+ Years Experience: Ideally in early-stage startups or high-ownership engineering roles where you’ve owned UX end-to-end.
- Design Mindset: You have strong product sense and understand how great UI/UX helps solve user pain points. Bonus if you’re comfortable using Figma.
- SF Location: Ability to join us 3+ days a week at our new SF office located near Montgomery Station
- Ownership & Product Craft: As a founding engineer, you’ll drive how our product looks and feels from first click to insight delivery.
