Hunter Scouts is looking to solve the problem of automating complex administrative workflows in the healthcare industry by creating intelligent digital staff, and the Founding Full-Stack Engineer will play a key role in designing and scaling their core orchestration platform.
Requirements
- Proficient with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js (strong Python backend experience may substitute for Node.js)
- Experienced in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases and async job processing in production systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS for service deployment and operations
- Familiarity with browser automation frameworks like Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium
- Experience in healthcare workflows or revenue cycle management (RCM)
- Exposure to HIPAA compliance or healthcare security/privacy practices
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full‑stack features using React/Next.js and TypeScript/Node services
- Scale the Orchestrator for complex multi‑step web automations (context handling, DOM/visual sensing, action selection)
- Enhance reliability, observability, monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines for production systems
- Collaborate with Machine Learning teams to integrate LLM/agentic workflows into the platform
- Implement security and privacy best practices suitable for handling healthcare data
Other
- Must be based within 50 miles of San Francisco, California or New York City, New York, United States, or willing to relocate
- 5+ years of production-grade experience building web applications and services
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S without current or future employer sponsorship
- Prior early-stage startup or founding engineer experience
