MLabs is building fully autonomous, in-house AI agent systems designed to solve critical, large-scale problems in modern web application security.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and deep understanding of Python, API Design, and efficient Database systems.
- Deep understanding of AI Agents, LLMs, and relevant AI libraries.
- Experience designing and creating complex Agentic AI Architectures.
- Strong understanding of building scalable, micro-services and distributed systems with efficient design patterns.
- Strong experience with version control using Git and Git-based workflows.
- Experience leveraging AI development tools (e.g., Cursor) to significantly improve development speed and quality.
- Experience with the post-training and serving of LLM models.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modular, reusable, and maintainable features primarily using Python.
- Build and maintain complex features with a strong focus on system performance and scalability.
- Design and create robust RESTful APIs in Python to power our proprietary AI Agents.
- Implement and optimize systems for Agentic AI in the domain of large-scale threat detection and mitigation.
- Analyze and identify performance bottlenecks in the backend codebase, implementing efficient optimization solutions.
- Work with database systems, ensuring efficiency and scalability using PostgreSQL.
- Utilize and build backend infrastructure components using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- 1 - 5 years of experience as a software engineer at a notable company (e.g., big tech, YC startup).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
