An early-stage AI company is building the future of customer research by using AI agents to create studies, conduct interviews, and extract meaningful insights, enabling teams to understand their customers faster than traditional methods. They are seeking a Founding Software Engineer to take on significant product ownership and contribute to product definition, engineering, and company culture from the ground up.
Requirements
- 0+ years of experience in full-stack, product, or frontend engineering.
- Experience with frontend development.
- Experience with backend development.
- Experience with AI.
- Experience with web development.
- Experience with API creation.
- Experience with database migrations.
- Experience contributing to infrastructure using Terraform.
- Experience utilizing and adapting quickly to modern AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
- Experience performing prompt engineering for AI models.
Responsibilities
- Work across the entire stack, including frontend, backend, and AI.
- Deliver a customer-first product with a strong product and design mindset, constantly iterating based on user insights.
- Engage in core full-stack tasks: web development, API creation, database migrations, and contributing to infrastructure using Terraform.
- Utilize and adapt quickly to modern AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and perform prompt engineering for AI models.
- Take on significant product ownership and help define the team’s culture as an early member.
