Raytheon is looking to solve tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world by ensuring their products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time through the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) department. Specifically, they need a Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Engineer to support this mission.
Requirements
- Experience with reliability analysis, failure investigations, and/or root cause/corrective action (RCCA)
- Experience with FRACAS Engineering Concepts including knowledge of reliability and maintainability.
- Experience presenting to Failure Review Boards (FRB).
- Experience with Defense manufacturing OR work on Autonomous programs/systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Review defects and failures, conducting trend analysis and impact assessments.
- Present to internal and external stakeholders at program meetings and Failure Review Boards (FRB).
- Lead failure investigations to root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
- Supporting the proposal process in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for FRACAS work.
- Tracking Earned Value (EV) and providing accurate status on the schedule and budget for the FRACAS scope.

- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Typically Requires: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
