The Global Business Intelligence team at Apple needs to build and enhance data platforms and products to provide data services, analytics, reporting, and data science solutions to various business groups. This involves creating custom solutions or customizing open-source products to meet Apple's specific needs, extending the functionality of third-party BI tools, and ensuring the strength of data systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands on experience with Java and or Python
- Experience designing and developing scalable micro services and Rest APIs
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
- Experience of building and deploying cloud native applications/products
- Working experience with Big data technologies and data platforms
- Prior experience in the areas of AI/ML/Data Sciences will be a strong plus
- Experience with Business intelligence (BI) platforms like Tableau, Thought-Spot and Business Objects is a plus
Responsibilities
- Building various tools and features for Data and ML platforms, including data processing, insights portal, data observability, data lineage, model hub and data visualization.
- Building custom solutions ground up or take open source products and customize the same for Apple’s need.
- Building innovative tools and frameworks that can extend the functionality of 3rd party BI tools using APIs.
- Designing and developing scalable micro services and Rest APIs.
- Building and deploying cloud native applications/products.
- Working with Big data technologies and data platforms.
