The Fraud Analyst within the VR (Virtual Reality) support group plays a key role in building a trusted, abuse-resilient environment for our VR developers. This position is responsible for detecting and mitigating large-scale abuse networks that target the developer ecosystem.
Requirements
- 1- 2 years of financial or payment fraud/investigations experience required
- Additional experience in data analysis and technical support preferred
- Experience with Zendesk or Salesforce required
- Knowledge of SQL strongly preferred
- Personal or professional experience with video gaming and social media platforms preferred
- Experience utilizing VR Oculus headset in addition to virtual reality (VR) Systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Proactively hunt for threats and undetected abuse by leveraging internal data, open-source intelligence, and third party private intelligence.
- Execute complex investigations to understand how abuse is occurring and implement enforcement strategies to detect and mitigate harm.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to advance investigations, quantify trends or support findings.
- Identify opportunities to automate investigative processes.
- Scale investigation capabilities by building and improving operational workflows and actions to auto-resolve false positives and provide context, scaling investigation capabilities.
- Implement effective strategies to prevent and disrupt abuse at scale.
- Synthesize investigative findings and articulate complex and technical information for diverse internal audiences.

- Must reside in the United States and have a valid U.S. address for residence
- 18 Years of age or older with a completed High School Diploma or GED required
- Willing to work onsite in Austin (in office only)
- Able to rotate shifts as needed as well as adhere to shift schedules and maintain acceptable attendance required
