Prove is looking for a Fraud Data Analyst II to help build the next generation of identity verification authentication products that enforce accurate decisioning. This role will involve investigating fraud, analyzing and rolling out new policy updates, and testing new concepts to close fraud trends. The goal is to optimize products that directly impact customer experiences and achieve the mission of creating a state-of-the-art frictionless authentication platform.

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in Product as a business or support data analyst.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies
  • Strong software development principles to build automated solutions
  • Knowledge of fraud threats and types a plus
  • Exceptional analytical, evaluative, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Knowledge of Testing/troubleshooting RESTFul APIs through API platform software (e.g., PostMan)
  • Experience with creating dashboards in Looker or similar business intelligence tool
  • Knowledge of Splunk, SQL and/or relational databases
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodology

Responsibilities

  • Analyze submitted fraud data against the Global Fraud Policy (GFP) to determine fraud capture and friction rates.
  • Identify new fraud mitigation techniques within existing Prove products.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to assess the potential impact of new and updated GFP criteria on existing clients.
  • Support Fraud Strategy Analysts and collaborate with Data Partnerships to evaluate third-party products and solutions to address emerging fraud trends.
  • Develop and maintain fraud detection and data analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with Product & Engineering to optimize, automate, and accelerate data analysis techniques.
  • Generate and maintain reports and/or dashboards to track fraud metrics and performance against both the GFP and “fraud table”.
