The Fresh Data Analyst will develop, design, and create tools and processes that provide key analytics to drive strategic initiatives and decisions for up to $3B of inventory. This position is responsible for using multiple systems and data formats to create efficiencies within process improvement, forecasting, inventory optimization, and automation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Analytics or other data related field required
- 2+ years of experience with SQL required
- 2+ years of experience with at least one data visualization platform (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) required
- 2+ years of experience with data wrangling, management and ETL required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and insights using tools such as SQL, Alteryx, and PowerBI to provide insightful business recommendations.
- Query and manipulate large datasets via SQL and Alteryx.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Procurement, Merchandising, Sales and Operations to identify opportunities, develop dashboards, and track processes/results through data analysis.
- Perform complex root cause analysis to resolve potential workflow and database issues.
- Collaborate across departments to integrate data from multiple sources and understand cross-functional impacts
- Identify customer requirements, develop testing plans, and track and document development/results
- Evaluate and measure department inefficiencies and present findings, trends, and business cases to internal stakeholders and leadership
Other
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including department leadership within Procurement, IT, Merchandising, Sales, and Operations to identify opportunities and deliver results for internal growth and customer growth.
- Owning departmental processes and building, distributing, and maintaining existing reporting.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure alignment with governance standards—collaborate with key stakeholders including IT to address system upgrades, issues, and project related tasks as assigned.
