Lila Sciences is looking to improve efficiency and enhance user experience by creating seamless, intuitive, and high-performance interfaces for internal tools and applications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development, UX, or Design with JavaScript, React, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience working with Retool, including customizing components, integrating APIs, and managing workflows.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Strong understanding of git best practices.
  • Learning or experience in design and UX best practices.
  • Experience with SQL and database design for optimizing Retool queries.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and dashboards using Retool and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Gather feedback from users and iterate on UI/UX improvements.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and software engineers to build efficient and user-friendly internal applications.
  • Build custom Retool components to meet specific scientific needs.
  • Ensure a high level of usability, accessibility, and responsiveness in all UI components.
  • Write clean, maintainable, re-usable and well-documented code.
  • Participate in the entire software development life cycle, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining front-end tools.
