CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front End Developer to join their innovative team to develop and maintain dynamic web applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services, and optimizing performance and security.
Requirements
- Expertise in Angular (preferably Angular 10+)
- Deep understanding of Angular CLI, Angular modules, components, services, directives, pipes, and dependency injection
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt, Node.js
- Experience with responsive design and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Materialize, or Angular Material
- Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx, Akita, or others
Responsibilities
- Proven hands-on experience developing user-facing features using Angular framework (Angular version 10+)
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborate with team for design strategies
- Incorporate UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products
- Expert in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Proven experience to write unit and integration tests with Jasmine, Karma, and/or Protractor
Other
- Strong time management and work organization with verbal and oral communication skills
- Up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development
- Participate in code reviews with peers, knowledge of GIT, and Google Secure Source Manager is a plus
- Create and update documentation in support of development efforts
