Mazzella Companies is looking to drive awareness, new customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue through web and app development initiatives for New Tech Machinery and Sheffield Metals.
Requirements
- Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom themes
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Understanding of MySQL or MariaDB databases
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin) or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Ionic, Flutter)
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular, Vue.js)
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute web development initiatives and launch activities for all Mazzella Metals Business websites.
- Develop, execute, and maintain WordPress sites, including custom theme development, content management, and custom Gutenberg block creation.
- Ensure proper security is in place across all web properties.
- Improve user experience and interaction (UX/UI) on internal and external platforms.
- Assist with mobile application development using cross-platform frameworks or native development.
- Create visual mockups and wireframes for web and mobile features.
- Create front-end user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to connect with back-end systems and databases.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in web and mobile application development
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and E-verify
