Nuvolum is seeking a Front End Developer to create high-quality, responsive web applications that align with their organizational mission, leveraging technical expertise to develop impactful and sustainable solutions to complex challenges.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a front-end web developer
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript or modern JavaScript
- Experience working with APIs (e.g., GraphQL, REST)
- Proficiency in building responsive websites and progressive web apps
- Strong skills in modern CSS resources such as SCSS and Foundation
- Proficiency with web development tools and debugging techniques
- Familiarity with JavaScript unit testing tools like Mocha, Jasmine, or Jest
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement responsive web applications
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into high-quality code using modern frameworks and technologies
- Integrate front-end components with backend APIs (GraphQL, REST)
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

- While this position is currently remote, it is expected to transition into a hybrid model, requiring one to two days a week in our Tiburon, CA office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
