Nuvolum is seeking a Front End Developer to create high-quality, responsive web applications that align with their organizational mission, leveraging technical expertise to develop impactful and sustainable solutions to complex challenges.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a front-end web developer
  • 2+ years of experience with TypeScript or modern JavaScript
  • Experience working with APIs (e.g., GraphQL, REST)
  • Proficiency in building responsive websites and progressive web apps
  • Strong skills in modern CSS resources such as SCSS and Foundation
  • Proficiency with web development tools and debugging techniques
  • Familiarity with JavaScript unit testing tools like Mocha, Jasmine, or Jest

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement responsive web applications
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into high-quality code using modern frameworks and technologies
  • Integrate front-end components with backend APIs (GraphQL, REST)
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating high-quality, responsive web applications that align with our organizational mission.
  • This role requires effective communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • While this position is currently remote, it is expected to transition into a hybrid model, requiring one to two days a week in our Tiburon, CA office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
