The company is looking to build a next-generation collaboration solution and needs an experienced Front-End Developer to create elegant, high-performance digital experiences within the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
Requirements
- Deep Expertise in the Microsoft .NET Stack, including: ASP.NET 4.8 (WebForms and/or MVC), C-Sharp, Experience building or consuming WebAPI / RESTful Services
- Required proficiency with the Foundation front-end framework in a professional environment.
- Expert knowledge of core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and XML.
- Required experience with Microsoft and related development tools: Visual Studio IDE and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control, Telerik Ajax Control Toolkit.
- Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular, or React.
- Familiarity with JavaScript unit testing frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex requirements and mockups into fully functional, interactive digital experiences using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and the Foundation framework.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web pages within our existing ASP.NET (WebForms/MVC) platform.
- Determine the optimal structure and design of web pages, ensuring user experience drives all design choices.
- Develop new user-facing features while striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Hand-code clean, semantic HTML and scalable CSS, ensuring all designs are responsive and optimized for mobile devices.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and compatibility across browsers.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate with C-Sharp and WebAPI / RESTful services.
Other
- 5+ years of front-end development experience, demonstrated by a strong portfolio of quality, hand-coded responsive web projects.
- A passion for front-end architecture and a driven attitude towards learning new web technologies and best practices.
