Cognitive is looking for a Front End Developer to design, develop, and implement business solutions for US government healthcare programs, leveraging expertise in Power Platform, API development, business reporting, SQL, and Azure Cloud Services to improve the quality, speed, and delivery of these programs.
Requirements
- deep understanding of the Power Platform, specifically Power Pages
- expertise in in applications programming methodologies (API development) and disciplines
- Proficient with business reporting
- advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) in Microsoft SQL and Oracle environments
- experience with various Azure Cloud Services
- Strong JavaScript and jQuery required, HTML, CSS, and Azure (IaaS experience)
- Experience crafting wireframe graphic designs into Web Interface code
- Experience with API development and REST API Web Services
Responsibilities
- Front end/UI development within the Power Platform Applications, specifically Power Pages
- Develop client side code for web applications using HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript Libraries, CSS, and other technologies
- Design, write, unit test, and document application code, including writing customized code, customized forms, and custom workflows
- Read, interpret, and write clear, concise reports, requirements definitions, User Stories, detailed design documents, and online correspondence with client etc.
- Provide critical thinking, problem solving, design, and attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the system and component level
- Participates in software design and architecture discussions to ensure the software meets the functional and non-functional requirements
- Collaborates with other developers, testers, and stakeholders as needed, including performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members

- Bachelors degree or equivalent years’ related experience and a minimum of 5+ years of software development experience, including Power Pages development
- US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust - Medium Background Investigation (MBI)
