Amazon is seeking a Front End Engineer II to develop user-friendly interfaces for security assessment platforms and automated evaluation systems to safeguard its global infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in front-end web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- 2+ years of experience with computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, architecture, code reviews, source control, continuous deployment, testing, and operational excellence
- Experience with building scalable, responsive, and cross-browser compatible web interfaces
Responsibilities
- Develop and support user workflows that improve customer experience and operational efficiency
- Create reusable front-end components and tools, ensuring maintainability and scalability
- Test, validate, and iterate on user interfaces based on stakeholder feedback and usability testing
- Analyze stakeholder requirements and propose technical solutions aligned with security standards
- Review and evaluate the team’s technological solutions and operational procedures
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across all aspects of front-end operations and performance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and security visualization tools

- Mentor and assist new team members in understanding security systems, customer needs, and development processes
