First Citizens Bank is looking to solve the problem of enhancing its online banking platform and other digital services by developing and maintaining user interface components that improve user experience and operational efficiency through digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience building user interfaces with React.js
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features, TypeScript, and CSS3
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
- Familiarity with React component lifecycle and best practices
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Ability to interact with REST APIs and handle data fetching and manipulation
- Proficiency in using GitLab for version control
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user interface components and web applications using React.js
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices
- Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, developers, testers, and other teams to define and implement solutions
- Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) toolchain to improve automation and efficiency
- Analyze and resolve technical issues through debugging and troubleshooting
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize application performance
Other
- 2 years of application software programming experience, or High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of relevant application development experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Prior experience in regulated financial organizations is a plus
