Requirements
- Proficiency in modern frameworks such as React and React Native
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency or blockchain integration in front-end applications
- Experience working in high-growth software startup(s)
- Industry experience in fintech or financial software
- Experience managing software engineers
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of responsive, user-centric web and mobile app interfaces using modern front-end technologies
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and back-end engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure the scalability, security, and accessibility of front-end applications, adhering to fintech industry standards and regulations
- Drive the adoption of best practices, code reviews, and testing strategies to maintain high-quality deliverables
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in front-end development and fintech to recommend and implement innovative solutions
- Mentor and guide a team of front-end developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Conduct code reviews, implement new features, and maintain cross-system compatibility to meet high standards
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development of both web and mobile applications, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
- Ability to work in a culture of builders and overachievers, embracing high performance, transparent feedback, and a mission-first approach
