Refactoring mobile and web banking applications to meet ADA standards and address a backlog of non-compliant code.
Requirements
- Experience using Angular (or other framework) in a corporate environment, not including school projects
- Strong understanding of Web Standards and HTML semantics
- Strong CSS knowledge and experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass or Less)
- Advanced JavaScript knowledge
- Experience with BEM or other modular CSS methodology
- Experience creating and using reusable UI components
- Experience writing unit tests and utilizing automated testing
Responsibilities
- ADA Compliance Refactoring: Lead the refactoring of mobile and web banking applications to ensure full compliance with ADA (American Disability Act) standards and resolve existing non-compliant code.
- Angular Development: Develop and maintain complex front-end applications using Angular framework in a corporate environment, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Web Accessibility Implementation: Apply advanced knowledge of WCAG 2.0 standards to create accessible web experiences that serve users with diverse abilities.
- Component Development: Create and maintain reusable UI components following established design systems and UX guidelines while ensuring accessibility compliance.
- Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit tests and utilize automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and accessibility standards are maintained.
