Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the Processing Team in development of tasking and scheduling software for a Ground program, ultimately supporting the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission.

Requirements

• Front-end GUI design and implementation experience
• Strong JAVA experience
• Web frameworks: React, Vue
• Working with a geographically distributed team
• Proficient with Atlassian tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Proficient working with NodeJS framework
• Familiar with Key cloak
• Agile development methodologies
• Software Design
• Software unit testing
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservice architecture, and object-oriented design

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, refactor, test, and debug applications software for a Ground Segment
• Support the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission
• Work on an Agile team supporting two programs with a singular baseline
• Execute 2-week Sprints for 3-month increment deliveries
• Develop tasking and scheduling software
• Operate independently with little oversight in a dynamic environment
• Handle diverse assignments with efficiency, finding unique solutions and working in a very collaborative and fast-paced environment

Other

• Must have an active/current U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access [TS/SCI] at the time of application
• US Citizenship required
• Minimum years of experience needed to be considered (varies by level)
• Must be able to maintain a DoD clearance
• Must be willing to work onsite (no remote or hybrid work)
