Iridium is looking to support near-term digital transformation initiatives and long-term efforts to keep Iridium’s digital properties at the leading edge of the competitive satellite communications industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree—or commensurate certifications or experience—in Web Development, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-3 years experience in Drupal website administration, including custom module and theme development
  • Experience with website automation tools and APIs
  • Strong knowledge of CMS platforms, particularly Drupal and HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website hosting environments
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles
  • Proficiency with Git-based workflows, JIRA, and Agile development practices
  • Experience with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and website performance optimization

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Iridium’s Digital Communications group and outside vendors to launch a redesigned, redeveloped Iridium.com
  • Assist in providing best-in-class content management
  • Enforce Iridium’s Web governance policies and guidelines for writing, file naming, SEO, and design assets
  • Help to keep Iridium Web properties secure in collaboration with our IT Security team
  • Support the development, design, and maintenance of Iridium Web applications
  • Assist in server-side logic and maintenance to support front-end functionality
  • Identify and resolve site defects

  • Be able to travel up to 15%
