Dentsu is looking for an experienced Frontend Technical Architect to lead the architecture and front-end strategy for their composable commerce platform implementation and transformation projects
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in React, Next.js (SSR/SSG/ISR), and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Deep GraphQL expertise including Apollo Client/Server, schema design, and performance optimization
- Track record delivering high-performance, scalable web applications with measurable performance improvements
- Experience with headless commerce or composable architecture implementations
- Hands-on leadership experience leading technical teams while maintaining active development involvement
- Performance optimization expertise with expertise improving Core Web Vitals and page load times
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of React/Next.js headless frontend architecture supporting SSR, SSG, and ISR rendering strategies
- Architect and develop reusable React component libraries, design system integration, tokenization, and design-to-code workflows
- Implement Next.js optimization techniques including code splitting, lazy loading, and bundle optimization
- Design micro frontend architecture using monorepos and data layer abstractions
- Architect and develop GraphQL integration layers connecting frontend to commerce platforms and third-party services
- Implement TypeScript-first development practices ensuring type safety across the entire frontend stack
- Establish coding standards for maintainable, scalable React/Next.js applications
