Genesis10 is seeking a skilled UI/Frontend Developer to join our client’s dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position tailored for professionals with a strong background in Angular and React development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reusable UI components, contributing to scalable component libraries, and ensuring that applications are accessible, high-performing, and user-friendly. This role requires close collaboration with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product teams to create seamless, inclusive, and responsive user experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern UI architecture, accessibility standards, and best practices in frontend development, contributing to enterprise-grade applications used by thousands of users daily.

Requirements

  • demonstrated expertise in both Angular and React frameworks.
  • strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript is essential
  • proficiency in CSS, SCSS, and OOCSS styling methodologies.
  • comprehensive understanding of component-driven development and modern UI architecture patterns.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and ARIA is required
  • Experience with build tools like Webpack or Vite
  • contributing to enterprise-level component libraries or design systems.

Responsibilities

  • designing, developing, and maintaining reusable UI components in Angular and React, ensuring they adhere to best practices in performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
  • architecting scalable component libraries with a focus on reusability and maintainability
  • transforming wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive components in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
  • implement state management solutions such as NgRx, Redux, or Zustand to ensure predictable application behavior.
  • Optimizing rendering performance through advanced techniques like code-splitting and lazy-loading will be a key aspect of the role.
  • Writing clean, testable code with unit tests (using Jest, Jasmine, Karma) and integration tests (Cypress, Playwright) is essential to ensure robustness.
  • contribute to design systems, document component usage, and stay current with the latest trends in Angular, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript, sharing best practices with the team.
