KBR's National Security Solutions team needs a Frontend Developer to support the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort, which provides advanced Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the US Space Force’s acquisition of satellite communications systems. The goal is to provide global secure, survivable, and protected communications for the nation's warfighters by integrating complex space and ground communications systems.
Requirements
- Proficient in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) frameworks and libraries
- Strong experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js for building interactive, real-time UIs
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and building responsive, accessible web applications
- Experience integrating frontend components with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with component-based architecture and state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or similar
- Proven ability to build real-time interfaces using WebSockets or other event-driven communication patterns
- Proficiency in automated testing with tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on frontend engineering
- Minimal travel requirements
- Experience developing secure applications for government or regulated industries
