Stacklok is looking to build and enhance their desktop and web applications for secure and efficient MCP server management, enabling developers to discover, deploy, and manage MCP servers with intuitive, secure, and scalable user interfaces.
Requirements
- Proven experience in frontend development, especially with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Experience building complex, multi-feature software products for enterprise or professional users
- Strong knowledge of CSS and responsive design principles
- Experience with desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with containerization and Docker workflows
- Proficiency in working with REST APIs for seamless integration
- Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Playwright or @testing-library
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve ToolHive’s TypeScript-based desktop application, ensuring a polished user experience
- Contribute to the design and development of a new enterprise web application for MCP server management
- Create intuitive user interfaces for discovering, deploying, and managing MCP servers with a focus on developer usability
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to design and implement APIs supporting MCP server orchestration
- Partner with designers and product managers to translate user requirements into effective workflows
- Engage actively with our open source community via GitHub and Discord, providing support and incorporating feedback
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices to maintain high-quality codebases
