Coinbase is looking to enhance its internal developer platform to improve the efficiency and quality of internal tools used by its engineering teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building modern, data-rich web applications using React or similar frameworks
- Proven ability to develop and launch user-facing features with component-based UI frameworks
- Strong knowledge of front-end architecture, including performance optimization, security best practices, and usability
- Experience working closely with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout product and design lifecycles
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality, well-tested, and user-centric code
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of React components and pages for Coinbase’s Internal Developer Platform (IDP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design workflows that facilitate API publication, discovery, and evaluation
- Enhance internal tools to improve usability, performance, and reliability for engineering teams
- Contribute to the Coinbase design system and internal frontend libraries to ensure consistency and reusability
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with infrastructure products and APIs
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards
- Identify opportunities for performance improvements and implement best practices in front-end development
