Coinbase is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join their Risk Platform Team to shape the architecture of next-generation risk management systems that safeguard their platform and users from financial fraud and risk.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks such as React.
- Hands-on experience with React Native for mobile app development or transitioning native apps to React Native.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture, including performance optimization, security best practices, and usability standards.
- Excellent coding skills with a focus on writing high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack, testing frameworks such as Jest, and version control systems.
- Ability to articulate technical vision and contribute to long-term strategic planning.

- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and user-friendly web and mobile interfaces for the Risk Platform.
- Define and communicate the technical vision and architecture for future growth and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code with a focus on performance, security, and usability.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of testing strategies to ensure robustness and reliability of delivered features.
