Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks, especially React.
- Experience with TypeScript, React Native, and building mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture, performance optimization, security best practices, and usability standards.
- Familiarity with UI development tools such as Storybook, Percy, Linaria, and Docusaurus.
- Experience working in Agile environments and participating in product and design lifecycle processes.
- Nice to have: Experience with AI, Codegen, ML, Figma, and Design Systems.
- Preferred: Prior experience working in finance or security-related front-end teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable UI components for web and mobile platforms using React and React Native.
- Collaborate with designers and product teams to translate design prototypes into functional, accessible, and high-performance interfaces.
- Implement best practices in front-end architecture, performance, security, and usability.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Coinbase’s design system and tooling infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure code quality and consistency across projects.
- Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving UI-related issues in production environments.

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in front-end web development, with a proven track record of shipping user-facing features.
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Competitive salary within the range of $152,405 to $179,300 USD, commensurate with experience.
