Requirements
- Deep React Expertise: Strong background in React (and ecosystem: TypeScript, Redux, Next.js).
- Complex Front-End Experience: Proven track record building and scaling applications (ideally similar to ClickUp or Linear) with attention to performance and algorithmic design.
- Full Stack Ability: Node.js and API integration experience, with enough backend know-how to ship features end-to-end.
- UI/UX Best Practices: Strong grasp of responsive design, accessibility, and modern web standards.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Build Front-End Systems: Design and maintain scalable, high-performance React applications, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and clean UI.
- Innovate with Features: Prototype, iterate, and ship new product features quickly (e.g., estimation add-ons, layout generation, 3D visualization).
- Shape UX & Design: Collaborate with UX designers, provide technical feedback on prototypes, and independently implement polished, signed-off designs.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously improve responsiveness and speed in complex front-end systems.
- Contribute Across the Stack: Work with Node.js APIs, cloud deployment, and assist with our migration from REST to GraphQL.
- Collaborate Closely: Partner with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences while influencing frontend best practices.
