Requirements
- Strong frontend development skills with solid JavaScript and TypeScript experience.
- Experience working with a design system approach.
- Comfort working with and improving legacy code.
- Comfort working with Ruby on Rails and Node.js, including light backend tasks such as creating controllers or updating serializers.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontends using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Web Components, Bootstrap.
- Build and maintain design systems that keep our components, typography, and styling looking sharp and consistent.
- Improve Core Web Vitals, implement SEO changes, and run A/B tests to boost conversions.
- Replace outdated tech with modern frameworks and keep everything fresh and up to date.
- Write unit tests with Jest and maintain high-quality code standards.
- Collaborate closely with the team to deliver features that impact millions of visitors.
- Lead refactoring and upgrade initiatives and make the right technical calls.
