Requirements

  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue.js).
  • Strong understanding of TypeScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
  • Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, amCharts).
  • Geospatial Tools: Experience with map-based applications using OpenLayers, Leaflet, or Google Maps.

Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of frontend applications, ensuring they meet user requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, data scientists, and downstream solution teams to deliver cohesive and effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of our development processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Agile Practices: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that meet the needs of our diverse user base.
  • Develop and deploy enterprise-level applications that transform raw data into meaningful insights.

Other

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline with progressive software development experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or four or more years of experience with a master’s degree.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to undergo a CI polygraph.
