At Target RWE, the business problem is to advance clinical research and inform better healthcare decisions by leveraging real-world data, and the job is looking to solve this problem by developing, maintaining, and enhancing internal and external user-facing web applications.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in at least one major frontend framework (Angular or React).
  • Solid command of HTML and CSS, including responsive design and layout techniques.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience integrating APIs and visualizing complex data.
  • Familiarity with component-based architectures and state management.
  • Experience with CSS frameworks such as Sass, Tailwind, or Nebular.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications primarily built with React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS (experience with Angular is a plus).
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into functional, high-quality web solutions.
  • Implement new features, optimize existing components, and resolve UI/UX bugs in a timely manner.
  • Ensure responsive design, accessibility, and consistent cross-browser performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in JavaScript/TypeScript, with strong use of HTML and CSS (or CSS frameworks).
  • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), and modern DevOps workflows (Docker, AWS, S3, CloudFront).

Other

  • 3+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer, UI Engineer, or Full Stack Engineer with a frontend focus.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex features.
  • Hybrid + remote work environment, located in Raleigh/Durham, NC or Dallas, TX
