Gigantic Playground, a CourtAvenue company, is looking to solve the problem of creating next-generation interactive experiences and intelligent technology products for clients in the business-to-consumer sector by hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to craft cutting-edge interactive experiences.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with ALM tools (e.g., ClickUp, CI/CD, AWS, Git).
  • Proven expertise in front-end development (Web UX/UI, consuming REST APIs, CORS).
  • Proficiency in Linux or MacOS command-line tools and Bash shell scripting.
  • Strong awareness of web performance factors, including on-page and external solutions (CDN, caching, etc.).
  • Front-end development experience (Web UX/UI, HTML/CSS, Mobile Responsive).
  • Expertise with browser-based JavaScript & connecting to REST APIs.
  • Expertise with React or Vue for Web UI and associated tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).

Responsibilities

  • Engage in technical discovery sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development process, solution design, and implementation to help ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of client projects.
  • Research new technologies.
  • Collaborate in creating prototypes and proofs-of-concept for rapid learning, validation, and iteration.
  • Proven expertise in front-end development (Web UX/UI, consuming REST APIs, CORS).
  • Proficiency in Linux or MacOS command-line tools and Bash shell scripting.
  • Strong awareness of web performance factors, including on-page and external solutions (CDN, caching, etc.).

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Competence in requirements gathering and technical/non-technical documentation.
  • Self-driven, dynamic, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to extract valuable lessons from both successful and unsuccessful projects while maintaining a positive attitude towards learning from past experiences.
  • 3+ years of industry experience.
