The USSOCOM J6 Budget Tool requires software development and sustainment support to ensure availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise-level applications.
Requirements
- Angular (front-end development)
- .NET and C-Sharp (back-end development)
- SQL Server (database development and optimization)
- Windows Services (design and maintenance)
- Agile software development methodologies
- DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (preferred)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain application features in support of the USSOCOM J6 Budget Tool.
- Implement responsive front-end interfaces using Angular.
- Develop back-end services and APIs using .NET and C-Sharp.
- Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
- Develop and maintain Windows Services for workflow automation and system integration.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Ensure applications adhere to DoD cybersecurity and secure coding standards.
Other
- Active TS/SCI clearance (mandatory)
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 3–7 years of experience as an application developer (Journeyman level)
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
